Would you like to help provide Taiga with a lifetime of quality care? She is currently available for adoption under our "Apopt a Raptor" program.

Taiga Our new hawk, Taiga was a youngster and a car collision victim in the spring near Great Falls, a migrant from the tundra and taiga of the far north and now on our Teaching Team. A sweetie and bum wing but comfortable in her new surroundings. She was just a year old, so hopefully in the Family for a long time to come.

Her first off-site program was for Mission Valley Amish Christian School in St. Ignatius. After a few practice walks around the property that week, I crossed my fingers and loaded her in the kennel for the 1 1/2 hour drive to the Flathead Valley. A PRO, rode just fine on a flat perch, on the glove for 15 minutes, I was so happy! And appreciated by the Amish kids, 1st to 8th grade and teachers, family. A memorable and wonderful event, and school number 142...we'll be back!
