Singer and storyteller Bill Harley paid a visit to the Raptor Ranch recently, a real honor. He is huge inspiration and we try to add a little "Bill Harley" to our programs for children (and adults too!)
Osprey nest at Abbott's, west of Missoula. We erected this platform in 2003, and in 2007 it was finally occupied and fledged two young. Tragedy struck in 2008, when the female was tangled in baling twine and electrocuted. Pick up the baling twine!
